Their common position strengthening momentum of the two ports of Elis ( Katakolon and Killini ) through communication actions that have substantial results , transferred yesterday to the Prefect of Western Greece Mr. Ap.Katsifara and Antiperifereiarchi development and entrepreneurship Mr. George Angelopoulos , the presidents municipal port Tower Funds and Kyllinis gentlemen, Av . Varouxis and N . Moradi respectively , during their meeting in Patras .
In particular the mayor Andravidas Kyllinis and president of Municipal Port Kyllinis Mr. Moradi, asked Mr. Katsifaras and Mr. Angelopoulos actions substance to be visible positive results rather ineffective actions.
Also, the mayor Andravidas Kyllinis and chairman of the port fund Kyllinis Mr. Moradi said that the pressure ports and actions in neighboring counties is visible in Ilia and require careful movements, in order to prevent any future damage to the local economy of the county .
On his part, the President of the Municipal Port Tower Mr Av. Varouxis sought to persuade Mr. Katsifaras and Mr. Angelopoulos for the particular dynamics of the two ports of Elis , the outstanding position in the tourist and commercial traffic and hence the separate approach to be taken by the Region regarding their specific communicative development actions.
Mr. Katsifaras mentioned projects are being launched in the port of Katakolon, the implementation of commitments regarding the bypass road Lasteika – St.John and to launch the necessary actions to the first quarter of 2015 to announce the auction of works redevelopment of the land area.
Regarding Kyllinis harbor asked Mr. Moradi to inform him in detail new appointment for the needs and problems facing the Kyllinis port to cater for solving them from the Region.
Mr. Angelopoulos his part advised two presidents of port funds that is in the works communicating design the ports of the region and pledged to devote particular attention to the request of the emergence of two separate ports of Elis , which jointly claimed by presidents of the two port funds.
